Acting Deputy CEO of the Ghana Tourism Authority, Hon. Gilbert Abeiku Aggrey Santana, says “December in GH” is a homecoming for Africans in the diaspora and for Ghanaians who want to return home.
Speaking in an interview on Joy Prime, Mr. Santana explained that Ghana has now become a major gathering place for Christmas celebrations. He noted that the previous administration started this effort, and President John Dramani Mahama is helping it grow even more.
He added that in the past, most of the activities were centered in Accra, while other cities were left out, but this year, they are working to spread the celebration across the whole country.
